First things First... If you havn't caght the show this morning yet,
here is a look at the new hair color!
I can't even begin to tell you
how much fun it has been already.
I'm finding that I can wear brand new make up shades,
add zest to a dull ensemble
and most of all, I just feel very colorful which has
lifted my mood and desire to actually style my hair again. :)
So all n all... IM LOVING IT!
Moving right along though, to more, significant issues... THE SPRING JUMPSUIT....
Sometimes we look through our closets and think,
"GAWD, I HATE EVERYTHING IN HERE!"
(Ok.. maybe more than sometimes)
... but what I have found throughout the years is that
the reason I hated everything in my closet,
was because I was buying and re-buying
THE SAME OL' THINGS - all the time!
Sure, there is some variation on what my eye bought, but collectively -
it was pretty much the same thing.
It wasn't until I consciously examined this problem and made a vow
to step out of my comfort zone did my closet start to have
some excitement and versatility.
I began to write down a list of traits that I seemed to buy all the time.
Then, I wrote down things I admired but never seemed to buy.
I used these lists when I shopped and
soon I began to see my closet grow and mature.
Although money's tight and
I have nowhere near all styles that I really need/want.. I figured out that
stepping out of your comfort zone and experimenting with new styles
will help make your closet a more creative and fun place to experience.
The jumpsuit was one of my first "ah-ha" moments.
We briefly took a look at the jumpsuit today on THE B-SPOT
but here, we elaborate and give a CHEERS to the
"out of my comfort zone" piece that started it all!
