Today on THE B-SPOT

we delved in the world of Denim

and took a look at the versatile pieces and trends 

offered this SPRING/SUMMER.

Another trend for Denim drives in a more chic direction 

in an attempted to polish denim and give it a 

more refined presence.

New technology allows premium denim to appear glossy 

and take what was once considered a"casual" or "labor" classified fabric and make it 

perfect for createing "The New Bussiness Attire Look".

The blazer, which is still going strong, will not only be 

destined for offices all over the world, it will also be 

offered in thinner and more casual silhouettes 

for busy days when it's hard to catch your breath.

 E'hem!

Perfect replacement for that dirty old hoodie.

Alice & Olivia, Bora Aksu & Daks runway shows,

I have been dying to try this fun look myself.

Here was my first attempt on Episode 16 of THE B-SPOT.

"Cute Hair" was the popular complement that day.

It was pretty FUN STUFF!

I give you the "New Wave Goth" Style!

To achieve this look you'll need to mix 

TWO very prominent styles of the 80's:

GOTH KID & NEW WAVE.

Goth will have you wearing black.

Black Jackets, Black Leggings, Black Shoes,

BLACK EVERYTHING! But,

New Wave will have you mixing that black with NEONS.

Bright psychedelic colors like electric purple, neon pink,

florescent yellows, lime greens ect....

will balance out the "all black gothic look" just like Lourdes so perfectly demonstrates below.

ties and scarves in "school colors" will finish off the look with ease.
